Nigerians blast Oba of Lagos for snubbing Ooni of Ife in public  Nigerians have taken to social media, to criticize the Oba of Lagos, HRH Rilwan Akiolu, for ignoring the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, at a public gathering. There was an immediate buzz as the Ooni walked into the venue, with one of his aides rushing to wipe his chair clean, but the Oba of Lagos sat uninterested and looked away. the Ooni shook hands with another monarch and he made to exchange pleasantries with the Oba Akiolu, who only raised his hand indifferently. The clip has gone viral, with Nigerians not happy with the Lagos monarch’s reaction, with some describing it as “a public disgrace” and “pure disrespect”. G-Worldwide singer (sugarboy) announces debut album "Believe" The album that is set for release will also include an album launch concert  sometime in April 2017 . Sugarboy has released a number of singles in the past year. ‘Hola Hola’  was a major hit in the clubs, party spots and the streets, ‘ Legalize’  did well too and recently the singer released  ‘Dada omo ’, a woman-praising song. The ' Hola Hola'  crooner played a key role in label mate Kiss Daniel's debut album "New Era" released 2016, with collaborations in singing and production that brought to life some of the hit songs by Kiss Daniel.

DAVIDO AND ICE PRINCE EXCHANGE BRAWLS IN PUBLIC  Trouble started when Davido was picked up in a G-Wagon while Ice Prince was picked with a saloon car. The latter who was not satisfied with the development complained to the organizers. Apparently, Davido got wind of Ice Prince's complaint and was angry.  Ice Prince allegedly lodged another complaint when the organizers made him perform before Lil Kesh. Again Davido who was still angry jumped into the matter to defend his close pal Kesh to the extent that when they eventually got back to their lodge, he began to bang down Ice Prince’s door before he was calmed him down by the organizers. Funke Akindele-Bello harassed by area boys while filming  Funke Akindele- Bello left us asking; when will assaults and extortion of Nollywood actors and producers stop?  According to reports gathered, Funke Akindele-Bello was filming on set in Awoyaya, Ajah area of Lagos. The “Jenifa’s Diary” star shared a video of the incident on her Instagram page expressing her disappointment at the situation where producers and actors are held to ransom for no just reason.  She wrote; "filming now in chancellor street Iraboko awoyaya And area boys are here fighting us. Photographer To Sue Chris Brown After Singer Reportedly Sucker Punched Him –  Chris Brown  and his penchant for landing in the news for reasons other than music has been a consistent bent for the troubled R&B crooner. Details are developing surrounding an incident in  Florida  where Brown allegedly punched a photographer. The latest development is that the photographer, Bennie Vines, is threatening to sue for his injuries including a busted lip, according to  TMZ . Brown was in Tampa, Florida in the early morning hours on Monday (April 17) when he and his entourage arrived at the AJA Channelside venue for a paid appearance, reports  WFTS . Amaechi Threatens To Sue Fani-Kayode, Fayose’s Aide For N1.25bn The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has threatened to drag former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode and a media aide to Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, Lere Olayinka to court for linking him to the seized Ikoyi N13 billion unless they publicly apologise and pay him the sum of N1.25 billion. The Minister, who made the demand in separate letters dated 14th April, 2017, written through his lawyer, Prince Lateef Fagbemi (SAN) also  gave Fani-Kayode and Olayinka seven-day ultimatum to meet his conditions. Fagbemi also said his client has never owned a home in Lagos state, and that the “misleading information” was capable of tarnishing Amaechi’s reputation.
